RVing In Europe: Blogs, Links & Useful Resources
Following-on from my last post about RVing in Europe, I wanted to put together a list of resources, fellow bloggers and other practical links that we’ve been using since we embarked on our road trip on this side of the pond. It’s basically the European equivalent of THIS page that I maintained in the USA, and I’ll be transforming it into a separate, permanent page that will be linked to the menu tab of the blog. Hopefully you’ll find it helpful!
Note1/ This is a work in progress!! We’ve gathered a bunch of links & useful info since we moved here, but we’re still learning so if you have a European motorhome blog of your own (or one that you love), or some other European RVing link that you think would be useful to add to this page, please feel free to comment in the section below.
Note2/ We will be getting back to our tour-posts from Les Landes right after this, so if you’re waiting for the next travelogue I’ll have it up soon!

I want to take my 2003 Dodge Ram diesel 3/4 ton with an older lance camper over to Europe. What thinkers you?

Totally do-able. Diesel is expensive here, so plan for that. Also look into insurance before you do it. Basic liability only insurance (for US plated vehicles abroad) is not too bad, but if you need full insurance it’s $$$$. Other than that it’s not difficult, and relatively inexpensive to ship over a vehicle (RORO).
